What would be the correct offset for a 7" wide wheel?

Should I go with a 42 or 38 offset. BTW: I can get some fairly good prices on wheels from American Eagle Wheels. They aren't the greatest but they will look better than the stockers. Let me know if you are interested in any of the styles. I will get you a price.

I can't explain it easily in words...but will try.
No Offset = if the portion of the wheel that mounts to the hub is directly in the center of the rim width, or on the centerline in the diagram.
Positive Offset = if the portion of the wheel that mounts to the hub is closer to the outside of the rim than it is to the inside. (the more to the left in the picture, the greater the offset).
Negative Offset = if the portion of the wheel that mounts to the hub is closer to the inside of the rim than it is to the outside. (the more to the right in the picture, the more negative the offset).
I believe it is usually measured in mm.
