will the gas tank in a 4000 leak?

Default will the gas tank in a 4000 leak?

were getting gas dripping from the drain in allgumptions 4k, are these tanks prone to leaking? ive never heard about it here

Default other hypothesis

our other hypothesis is that one or both of the hose clamps on the other side of the dust boot are blocking some of the flow and its regurgitating back into the trunk and down the drain...

they rust right around where the two hoses come out of it. it's acutally easier to get the gas tank out than you might suspect. just pull back the trunk liner, and there only a few things holding it it.
just be sure to drain it first.

Default we pulled it already and checked for leaks, seemed fine

well have to check again
