Nice red 4kq, looked to be in decent condition, driven by a cute 20ish guy. I waved from my 4kq...he...paid us (me and my car) no attention. I guess not everyone gets excited over another car of the same model!! ![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Just strange because I NEVER see any older audis around here, let alone nice 4kqs. It will be nice at the GTG to see more than one at once!

or in prestine condition. The good news is I never see any embarrassing audi rustbuckets around here. Also, most older audi drivers here appear to be the original owners, hardley any 20 somethings or high school aged enthusiasts.

2 4KQ's, both in horrible shape
2 5KTQ's, both in horrible shape
2 CGT's, one going back to being iron ore, the other immaculate.
Thats it, oh yeah, and one clapped out 1989 Audi 90 TQ (300K miles!)

pulled up next to him at a light and tried to speak with him. he was hardly even interested. saw him a year later and waved at him going by, but got no response although i saw him look directly at me... what a grumpy old man ;-)

I'm in the Bay Area with my 4KQ.... not exactly a rust bucket, but the paint definitely needs attention. Can't really afford a respray yet, being fresh out of college and everything, but at least the sound is mechanically perfect.

this is kinda VW territory for some reason
when i drove my M10 nissan stanza there would always bee a coupple people pointing and waving just because the car is so weird
