mines been wired to some other source as those pins in my box are fried. not sure where the old man wired them to as i hadnt seen the car for quite some time and then he was sent to feddy prison so i told him to give me the audi.

its going to take alot of time and work but i want it to be right cause this was the first audi i truly lusted after this exact car.

it looks like it could be worth my time to pick up a spare car for parts but cant find any here and dont want to pay alot for one im just going to cannabalize. so it looks like someone here will be getting all my money.

Ah, well I would still try and find out where the relay is wired to. Maybe the circuit is shorted somewhere?

the fuel pump actually works it puts gas to the lines but when i cracked the lines i only got fuel from 2 so i think its in the fuel dizzy. just thinking out loud and trying to work thru this no start.

heres another question where could i find a throttle cable at mines broken on both ends. apparently there was something holding it to the pedal but it disintegrated when i tried to hook it back up.

i found them thru some odd places. the original ones i found were for auto cars but eventually 2 hrs later i found one for a manual car and the bushing for the pedal as well.

i wouldn't mind finding a blow up of the parts configuration. but cant seem to find a place that has them.

If you don't already have one, find yourself a Bentley manual for the car. It is pretty much the only book you'll need to work on your car. You can usually find them on ebay for a reasonable price or you can even try the audifans.com marketplace.

It has any and all info required. Blown-up views included.

thanks for all the help. someone on here has some factory service manuals im trying to get if he ever logs back on. if not ill get a Bentley and a Bosch fuel injection book.

a friend of mine has access to alldata but im finding it doesnt have all the technical specs and such that i want to use to work on this car.

No problem.
I find AllData pretty useful. It has some good exploded views of different systems. It does have some procedures for servicing your car but not all. Fairly useful overall but definitely pick up the Bentley. You won't regret it.

turns out the company did not have my throttle cable available and would not be able to get it indefinitely so i still need a 5 speed throttle cable all the ones im finding are for the auto trans and that wont work.
