I don't normally post in forums, but I'm making an exception since this is going to a project and I may be needing info from fellow Coupe owners. I'm Kevin and live in Lancaster, Pa. I am a full time VAG tech and I've been working on and owning VW Audi cars for as long as I could drive. I am familiar with CIS and have the tools, but haven't worked on the early Audis in years.
Here is our new project 84 Coupe GT album. I just picked it up on Saturday 4/8 from Maryland. The car has been in storage since 2011 and has 83K miles. We got it back to the shop and installed a new fuel pump and filter and repaired a leaking return line at the tank. Changed the oil and filter and went over the car making a long list of needs. She did start up and run! I discovered a fuel supply leak in the engine compartment under the battery tray. That's where I am with it now. Anyway, just wanted to share with everyone. We're excited to get her back on the road and out to the shows.
I'll be updating the album as the project progresses, so stay tuned. You can subscribe to the album to see all the new photos added. https://goo.gl/photos/y1EhzKQAWboV6UHy9

Still in restoration mode! Runs excellent and thanks from all the forums for getting it mechanically sound. The reflector photo is a led sheem I'm gonna perfect for permanent install! Ps I hate posting to this site photos look weird and either cannot upload or something goes haywire. Never a problem on Bimmer or Mercedes Site. Ridiculous Hope Led reflector photo shows up.

. Still perfecting backing plate and testing different led lights for brightness and stability.
Heres mine. I know the paint needs work and bumper work.Keep in mind that I am completely restoring it, to sum up from where I started the project I bought it off a guy for $600. Enough said lol. So far, I am content with how it looks to the amount of work i have put myself through
New to using forums (cause I'm part of the tik tok gen Z crowd), but saw all the resources and info that forums have so I wanted to join. Here's my 1985 Audi Coupe (When I first bought it oct 2020) vs a few weeks ago. it's still a work in progress, but hoping to get it up and running by the end of this year.
