Default Playing with the electrical "system" on the 5ktq

Charging system seems to be having issues.
Batt & brake warnings come on & dissapear. Pass. window not working. Brake lights sometime stay on. Antilock brake system disconnected, & I haven't piced up a bently for it yet (as if that would help much)

Default My car is pretty dirty here in NC... am going into the dash on sunday.

It's supposed to be raining here on Sat am, and I have weekend sat pm plans. I've lots of stuff to do inside the car... that I've been meaning to get to and have not.

Default Essica has decided she needs a rad swap... but..

the weather isn't going to cooperate. Today it is a balmy +3C as a high. Tomorrow morning I will wake to a nasty -29C with the wind chill factor. Unpleasant to say the least.

Anyone want to sponsor me for a green card so I can work in the south?

Default My 89 200TQ has done the same to me before...

I thought it was the alternator, but when I had it tested, it checked out fine. Turns out there's something in my car (possibly the alarm) that applies a small, constant drain to my battery. It was only able to take so many drain cycles and it ended up toasting the battery. It seemed to charge fine, but a load test revealed the battery was shot.
