Default *WARNING* AUTO LITE 103 SPARK PLUGS

Hey everybody, just want to let you know about a problem I had with the Auto lite 103 spark plugs. I installed them on my 93 Audi V8 approximatly 3,000km ago, they worked at first and then the car wouldn't start, no matter what I tried. I towed it to the garage where the mechanic was able to start it with no maintenance. I continued to drive after this, however, the car took a few attempts to start. Then last week,I tried to start the car and nothing. So i took the plug covers off, and at the same time i heard a knocking noise coming from one of the cylinders, i put my hand on the connector while the engine was running (roughly) and felt the knocking like there was something loose or broken in the engine (valves)so i removed the spark plug and the ceramic piece was freely spinning and had separated from the bottom piece. The plugs did have spark, but was very weak and this is not all, i then discovered that 4 other plugs had become loose as well. I went and bought some master craft plugs and the car started instanly. So i would suggest to any of you who are currently using auto lite to replace them with Bosch or something other than auto lite. (remember i barely had 3,000km on those plugs)

Default I've had this happen twice with AL's in my V8.

Same thing happened... the top part came loose from the bottom & you could spin the top & bottom in eather direction.
The 1st time 4 were bad, so I went back & got 4 others & checked them before I left the store. Gapped them to 32 & no issues.
When I rebuilt my 4.2 motor I used AL 103's again & had one do what is mentioned. I brought it back & got another... no issues.

Are you torquing them to the rite rateing?
