Default the 19" rim project

Now I know I'm going receive a lot of flack for this, but take notice. Rims came in this afternoon. I bought them for $510 off ebay. I have to take the challenge of fitting these OVERSIZED rims on the 1991 20020v. I will attempt to fit these rims on the front. I've focused on the 215/35ZR/19 front. If all goes well, ill stick to that width hoping not to rub the wheelwells on full turn. STAY TUNED!
the bet is one week before the rims are destroyed!

Default i am sure they will last longer than that, and with that low of a profile tires, you wont have rub

but a few things, 19's are pointless-
they will make your car slower if anything
they look goofy/rice
running that low profile of a tire raises the chances of beding them with potholes, etc
there's a reason the came from the factory with 15's... 4 inches is too much. 17's max.

good luck either way since u purchased them already.

i'm running 234/45/17s on 7.5 inch wide rims, no rub on 200 20v... the 'ride' on 19s might suck

the rims are motegi. you might find them if you search ebay now. thanx for the support and opinions. now i just have to decide which tire to pick. STAY TUNED!

rims are 19x8

Default I would think 225's or 235's would be a better width of tire for an 8in rim.

I'm sure 215's will work fine though.

your correct. according to my tire calculator, the closest ACCURATE tire size would be a 225/35ZR/19. 0.2% too slow. car will really be travelling at 60.1 mph while speedo reads 60mph not bad at all!
