Primary possibilities:
1) O2 sensor bad
2) Fuel filter bad
3) FPR bad
4) You have a leaky gas line
5) Bad / Clogged / Leaking fuel injectors
Suggestions:
Change O2 sensor, change fuel filter, change FPR, check for leaks, and for injectors...use a good fuel injector cleaner for starters.
Didn't work? Pull the codes.
Good luck.

FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator
If the lines aren't leaking with or without the car running, it doesn't seem likely that the car is leaking fuel through the lines since there isn't anything visible.
Go with the other items I suggested first, repost if the car still drinks gas.

What I would do is first change all that other stuff, then move to the injectors.
First, use the fuel injector cleaner and see if that changes things. If it doesn't pull them out of the car, while they are still connected to the lines. Have someone crank the ignition while you have the injector pointed into a cup. See how the injector sprays fuel into the cup. If the spray is normal, your injectors are not the problem. If the spray is abnormal, even after applying injector cleaner, you have a bad injector. A leaky injector is usually visible.

Ya. ![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
School tuition is going nowhere but up...and keeping the V8 running in top shape is getting more difficult.
We'll see what happens, nothing's definite yet. Just figured I'd see if it sells or not...if not, I'll have to put my thinking cap on and figure out an alternative.
