have a '90 v8 quattro need a new power steering pressure hose. Mine is split open and leaks fluid bad enough to where it is undriveable. It goes from the pump to a steel line that goes to the rack.

Talked to the dealer in town and they said that the part has been Discontinued.
Looked all over the web for one and was unable to find anything.
Nothing at local junk yards...
Talked to a couple hydraulics stores in town and they might be able to "cobble something together"
Looking for possible solutions or suggestions on what to do.
There is this oil feed line on ebay which i could maybe use but i would need a fitting on the end to match the ball nose fitting on the steel line.

Or, if you're not in the Pacific NW, you still can get the hose rebuilt by Spokane House of Hose. They have a good reputation in the Audi community for quick, reasonably priced, service. http://www.spokanehose.com/
