The rear windows have not worked for two months and now the front along with the roof will work and wont. They only work when the switches will lite up red but when the window switches lites are out no power to windows or roof. It comes and goes when it gets power to the windows. What should I be looking for.

broken wires. either at the drivers door or the rear doors.

Before I replaced the wires running through the driver doorjamb on my 200q20v, I had to open the door just the correct amount to get the sunroof to open or close and just another correct amount to get the driver window switch to work.

Just pulling back the rubber bellows only exposes some of the broken or almost broken wiring. You have to take the wires apart to find them all.

my 86 5k has the same issue, but no matter how i open the door, the driver front window wont work. switch is good, but what does the driver door have to do with the sunroof??

One of the kazillion wires in the doorjamb goes to a relay that powers both the window wiring and the sunroof wiring.

When my door open angle affected window/roof operations, I had wires about to break in the doorjamb. You probably have wires that already have broken.

agreed, i, probly gonna redo the entire harness. if i remove the hood release handle and the plastic cover i can see the harness, so one of these nice days i think ill start labeling cutting and rerunning wires. ive ohmed out several of them to find that msot of them have continuity, but the important ones dont...like my driver front window.

I need the Window regulator control unit which is a dual relay Upper right relay in my V8. Tested and Checked all the wires and switches and all worked fine. Is anyone parting out a V8 where I can get this big Relay.
