Today on my drive home with the windows down i noticed a clicking sound coming from outside the vehicle on the passenger side. It's frequency increased with the speed of the vehicle, but not increased revs.
I suspect wheel bearing? Anything else to check?
Also, in 2nd gear, when I floor it, around 2500-2800rpm (just as you can hear the turbo spool) the vehicle bucks violently, as if it is misfiring or not receiving enough fuel. This seams to be 2nd gear specific.
What should I check?

My car does the same thing. One of your passanger side CV axles is probably shot. Usually the boot that covers the CV joint gets torn. The grease that's packed in there will get flung out, and outsize contaminants get in - ruining the joint. I'm too scared to call around to see how much new CV axles would cost

Usually 2 suspects I have found. It depends on the 'bucking'. Since yours is gear specific it seems a little hard to tell. Is this during a wide open throttle burst?
Possibilities:
1) You are overboosting and hitting the fuel cut. This is often the case with a torn diaphragm of tear in a hose to the WG cap hoses.
2) There is a tear in an intake hose like the MM.
3) The end cap of the intercooler is coming loose.
Based upon my experience that's where I'd start checking at any rate.

Agree with all the diagnosis!
CV boots get torn and muck enters. I've had about a 50% success rate with pulling axle out, cleaning housing and joint, repacking with grease and installing new boot. Ones that didn't work i installed a used cv joint...
Bucking is most likely a vacuam leak. Easiest thing (and common problem) to check is the mm hose. Look for oily residue on the bottom. Hose is only two clamps to get off, inspect cloesly.
Eric
Wastegate diaphram is easy to test with a handheld vac pump...
run the codes... If it's a overboost it will show a code...
What kind of boost is the gauge showing?
