Default Need Help!! Look at this injector offer!!!

I've got an emergency. You can buy the injectors for $100.00 + shipping. My 5KS in the shop, been finished for a week, and I have to raise the money to get it out. They hit me with an unexpected bill to say the least. I had a drivability problem. They just started replacing parts one at a time until it ran right and charged me the whole way. I'm tired of arguing with them and got my bill down some. Tried to charge me $297.00 for a fuel pump(I can buy a new pump for less than half that) and $275.00 to R&R. I've yet to see my old pump if you catch my drift. He's had time to come up with an old one now so nothing I can do. I'm in danger of losing my car to this shop. Hell, all they had to do was make a reasonable offer and I would have sold it to them, but nooooooooooooo.
Thanks Guys

Default Check your part number again, I can't cross reference it to see if what you have will fit my Q

The part number should read:

XXX XXX XXX (then maybe a letter)

If they fit my Q then I'm ready to send you a check/money order as I have needed new injectors for a long time.

Per the listing at The Parts Connection, since my VIN ends in 021535, the injector(s) I need are part number 026 133 551.

Let me know!

Default (Image: Homer slaps head and says "D'oh!". Goes for more coffee)

Is there a Bosch site that I can check to see if his injectors will fit?

Default Never mind, found the cross reference on SJM's site:

Here's the p/n cross reference:

3.2 bar version, high pressure, fine thread, Audi # 035 133 551F, Bosch # 0-437-502-043, OEM Bosch version 0-437-502-044)

(2.5 bar version, low pressure, coarse thread Audi # 026 133 551, Bosch # 0-437-502-045, or OEM Bosch 0-437-502-046)

So I can't use them, hope somebody can!

Default Re: Never mind, found the cross reference on SJM's site:

The are for cars with VINs greater than 44-G-039768. So, if your car is an earlier '86, can't use them. If your car is mid-86 or newer, you can. That includes the 1989-91 200's as well.

The 026 # is for the early '86 cars only, according to the album.

So, Steve, you should be able to use them. Can you check the # on your current injectors?

Default Production date on mine is 8/86, and the VIN is below the VIN break, so I need the 026...

Don't want to pull them as I don't have any replacement seals in case I screw one up.

Believe me, I'd love to buy a full set of injectors for $100, but I guess 'll have to wait.

If your car was built in 8/89, it should have a vin somewhere between 44-H-000001 and 44-H-025439. Therefore, you'd have the 035 injectors, not the 026. My car should also have the 035, since its in the 90k range for chassis number. G = 1986, H = 1987, J = 1988, K = 1989, L = 1990, etc until you get to '00 or '01, where the model year character goes from letter to number.
