Hey guys.

I was wondering where can i find the megasquirt setup to upgrade the EFI on my 5000cs. I know about the stage II setup 034motorsports sells but i heard that megasquirt is alot cheaper than that.

You really just need to piece it together, there is not really a place to buy all of the parts and just install it.

allright. What do you charge for the hole setup or what price does it run for everything. And then on the wireing how does that all work, sice your not useing the old EFi distributor type thing?

On ebay. every month or so I see a 034 ecu go up for like 75%+ off full price. Its also how I got my Miata's Hydra. Screw paying 2k for an ecu...

Hmm ive never seen any 034 audi 10v ecu's on ebay. One day surfing the net i found this http://filebox.vt.edu/users/jdubyk/Audi/EFI/EFI.html but i wana know what all part you need to do the swap.

at the minimium a low band AF gauge, would recommend wideband though. Gut out all the CIS fuel system including injector lines WU regualtor and air box. AN fittings are needed, also do you plan on using the original stock ECU for ignition or are you going with fuel and ignition with the EFI setup? If so, ditch your distributor and get 5 coil packs as well. SEARCH the forum archives here, all this has been posted over the years, Search for Adam Mowafy's posts he did a very nice EFI swap, Birmant too, Steve Ankney did one as well thats off the top of my head. ALSO check and search the forums at MG's website. HTH.
