Ok I have a quatro 5k turbo, the prior owner didn't tighten down the crank bolt and sure enough I was at about 3k going on 3.5 k well into the turbo and boom clank.. new head needed. searched ebay got a head and after tearing it all appart, it is the wrong head. I have a head that doesn't have injector holes. Anybody know what this head comes off of? If it is possible, can I get away with just an intake that has the injectors in it? Any help here would be awesome. Right now the car is tore appart and I would really like to get it together so any connections etc would be appreciated. Thanks

What year/model do you have? What yr/model is head off of? Pics maybe?

My Audi is an 87 5k turbo quatro. I do not know what the head is. The intake ports are not round they are more oval. It looks to me as if the injectors would be in the intake but protrude into the head. I do not know how to post a picture but if you tell me how I will.

I need to clarify this. The new head I bought doesn't have the injector holes in it. The head I have does have the injectors in the head. The pic I posted is the "new" head. If you folks know a really good place to get a good turbo head cheap please let me know.. My funds are pretty much gone after buying gaskets head bolts, wrong head etc.

they were used on audi 80q/90q/100 and 100q from 88 and up i believe. the injetor are mounted in the intake manifold instead of the head. hope this helps.

If I find an intake will that work? were those turbo?

That is for sure a NG head off of the 2.3 5cyl, That particular engine was never offered with a turbo. Where are you located?
