You don't see boost until about 2500 RPM and then it builds quickly. Usually wastegate failure will cause overboost not underboost. Usually.

Thanks I have worked on VW's for years but not too much on turbo charged VW's...Thanks for the help..It might be that the fuel that it was running could be old and so it won't perform as it should...I have put in some treatment and put in new fuel..\\Audi Rhatt
