Default '86 audi 5000 tq cold start problem....plese help me

can somebody help me ?
ok first i have an '86 audi 5000 tq
i rebuilt the engine and everything was ok and runing fine then the cold start didn't work anymore i checked the voltage that it was geting and it was 9 volts (not enough to start the cold start valve) so i hooked up a relay which would give 12 v whenever it received the 9v signal.... now things have changed i'm not getting any voltage at all from the connector(and checked pin 1 on the computer too and there is no voltage there either)finally i made a direct power swich to the c.s.v. and now the engine is runnig so bad... it cant idle or run at all without the c.s.v. on (it sounds like it's missfiring or o2 sensor is bad) it's imposible to adjust the mixture and so on.... i'm running out of ideeas. please help

Default At what temperatures were you recording volts to the csv?

A few other things to check:
Have you checked your injectors for flow and spray pattern.

Check your warm-up regulator and or fuel distributor. Sounds similar to issues I recently had with my 86 cstq...

Low voltage everywhere except at the battery terminals might be the main power cable splice.

Default thanks guys

apparently the fuel pump is not working properly (it runs but cant make the pressure)

now when i checked the voltage outside was about 25 degrees celcius (the csv i understand doesnt kick in if the temp is only over 30 C)

i got the car to a somewhat experienced mechanic and that is what he said.... now tomorow i'll pick it up and see what he did... he also said the csv is not the issue and once he changes the pump it should be fine after he gets the proper fuel mixture and ignition timing.

my other question is : could it be fuel presure regulator?

Default the other stupid thin i did....

so after i managed to somewhat tun it up (but wasnt really runing great) and got the idle stabilized i disconected the oxigen sensor at which point the engine shut off and never really wanted to start or run without the csv.

can this be such a major issue ?
