88 5k TQW exhaust upgrade

u can get a custom new one with piping, cat, and muffler for about the same price..
i saw that one, but in the descrip. it says rust, i dont like the word rust. go custom etc, same results and same thing pretty much.

I have a 1987 5ktq with an exhaust made at local muffler shop (DTM tips, resonator delete, free-flow muffler) for $100.
In the shop I work at, there is an MC-1 '89 200tq with that same exhaust as above. I drove both cars today... I prefer the tone of the muffler shop system, and i think (apples to oranges, maybe) that my 5ktq breathes better. Both cars are running +- 15 psi boost...
I'd have a good muffler shop try their hand at making something up for yours...
