Default Agreed. Try this approach, go to the dealer and get...

...a printed copy of the cost of a new two piece manifold. If it's $800 USD, then that's how much in CDN $$$?

If you will not be doing the wrenching yourself, I would say "pass" on this car. You will easily spend another $5000 bringing it back up to spec maintenance wise.
