Default 91 200 20v Rear Diff Lock Cut-Off Override

All,

Anyone have pics of which wire to cut to deactivate the auto 15mph cutoff of the rear diff lock?

Much appreciated!

Isn't that tied in with your cruise control? If you cut that won't that make your cruise not work?

Default I don't believe so? I thought you cut the wire from the cruise into the diff lock...

control unit. That *shouldn't* impact cruise control. Am I missing something (I usually am...)

thx.

No, you can override the auto diff lock disengage and still have CC. BTDT.

No problem just don't leave it locked at HW speed the diff will not like it.

Aw come on, that's exactly what the override is for. The caveat probably should be don't leave it locked in high traction situations at hwy speed. Of course our definitions of HWY speed could differ.
I have been know to have my radar detecter on in snow storms, I suspect Jim has as well!

Default I have also heard that you can swap your 200TQ 20V rear diffy for a V-8's which is a limited slip

More $$ than cutting a wire but I know what you mean, 15 MPH limit on ice or packed snow is pretty slow. I think that 30 mph would be more useful.
