No locker on V8, either. All auto (Torsen rear, multi-plate center).

Default I knew the V8 had a torsen rear, but I've never seen a 200 with it.

And I've never seen anything with a torsen rear spin only one wheel.

Same tire too? The locker should have better traction (if it is used and working)

200 & 200 20V:
AFAIK the center console only locks a rear diff (from the diagram) an unlocks (unless you cut the blue wire or another trick) at 15 MPH.

The 4000Q had a rotary vacuum **** which did a center and rear diffs.
Position 1 and 2 where 2 did both.
You could really tell as the 4000Q would crab walk on concrete while getting into parking spaces with both locked.

Scott Justason (QshipQ), Scott Mockery (SJMautotechnik.com), the Anderson bros., and a few others know the exact operation.

Search Audifans.com under torsen............a bastard topic.

The 200 spun two wheels all on the same side :-(

Frustrating slowing the wheel spin down to near idle (in gear) trying to get the others to hook up.
There's finese and there's stuck. Stuck is stuck, finese sometimes undoes what believe in Quattro can do.......................

Disconnecting ONE CV axel from the front transmission renders the car COMPLETELY usless.

BTDT this winter: Seaarch Audifans.com for "Boom, no go"

Lock or no lock.
