One day working fine, the next out. I can't find a fuse for this, so I suspect it's one of those tear the dash out kind of fixes. Anyone know specifically where to go?

I have a 1990 100, it has been plagued with dashboard problems since I got it in '98, There is a ground wire addition that helps some problems, search the forum, & an Audi tech notice about bad solder points, after all repairs were done it worked OK for awhile then started beeping & 4 way flashers flashing when directional was on & worse!! finally, after repeated soldering & repairing, I found a dash from an '89, all my problems went away!!, I recently stripped another '89 & have that dash, I'd be willing to sell it if you find the fix too difficult. I think '90 & '91 had these isues but for some reason not '89?? anyone else have this happen?

Interesting, sounds like a monster fix. I need to strip the dash and see if anything needs resoldering. I'll let you know . . .
