misfire as 1 of 8 cylinders are not working..
seems like everytime different cylinder..

we replaced headgaskets, intake manifold upper and lower gaskets and o-rings

after startup its almost constant and if it gets warm, it misfires after every second, you can feel the fibration and hear the exhaust..
engine runs smoother after beeing in audi dealer but doesnt exactly solve my problem..

i have alreadt changed whole instrument cluster begause my oldone didnt show prnd321 and outside temp and oil pressure..
i got new one from 1992 v8. it works great.

Did You pull any fault codes ? If yes can You post them here ?
And what are all 10 measurements in Measuring Blocks ?
I mean Select -> 01 Engine -> Meas.Blocks 08 -> Group 000 -> Go!

Bad cam or crank sensor? Could tach and crank sensor be swapped?

man, this problem sucks! missing a tooth on the ring gear? I'm almost gonna go with DDelorean with the ecu. What else could it be.

Aside from being a possible source of your troubles ,a worn ring gear can give unusual operation ,no teeth missing just worn alittle flatter in a section. Now that you got the starter top bolt loose (heheheh fun was'nt it!!)to remove entire engine, you just pull the starter and carefully inspect the ring gear, its always a possibility.....p.s. I hope its not the ring gear!!

check for your new sensors code output ,g-60 or something like that ,I forget ,watch it!! ,its hot in there if your checking to see if you got the grey and black connector-sensor in the right position.
