Default AMM, Fuel Distributor 89-200QT

I'm looking for an air mass meter and fuel distributor for my 200QT. Does anyone know where I might look for a new or used part? Also I'm wondering if the same part is used on other autos or models?

My car acts like it is way too lean while driving at almost any speed. And I'm only guessing this is the problem. Do they very often fail? It looks like a rather stupid way to do fuel injection.

That stupid way of doing fuel injection has its roots all the way back to the mid/late 60's Porsche flat 6's (2.0S. 2.4). It works, and is reliable. Just not all that smart or up to date.

Fuel dist. failures are not very common unless it is a leak. But even then, that isn't very common to my knowledge.

If you can verify that it is indeed the fuel meter or the air flow meter (you can seperate the two pieces), you can get used ones from www.car-part.com. You "must" use one from the same year and VIN range as your car as there are a few versions.

Default You mean like the freshly removed 89 200 fuel head I have sitting on the shop floor?

All the lines still attached too.

Rockin, Thanks for the response. Do you know the value or have a price? I'm sort of new to this. Should I respond by e-mail?
