Any special tools required to replace a CV boot?

I've replaced CV/half shafts before but never just a boot. It appears you need a tool to cinch up the bands at the ends of the boot. What to I need to replace these?

I use a type of CV boot clamp pliers similar to those shown in the link, except they don't use a torque wrench. I've heard of folks using endcutters, but I'd think that would be really shade-treeish.<ul><li><a href="http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/LIS-30800.html">cv band pliers</a></li></ul>

I would add that multi tooth star thingy used to undo the flange bolts. One can't get it apart without it. And BIG socket, minimum 1/2 inch drive for the wheel bolt. 3/4 is better. Both with a pipe extender.
