Not sure what you mean in your post. I had a few problems begin to develop at 140K. I added a quart of Lucas Tranny Fix. Now at 160K, occaissional slow shift 2-3, clunk into reverse. May add another quart, that is what they reccommend.

Thanks for response, I guess because a majority of the earlier and later models of this car I've seen had either a "need" for a new transmission or had one replaced or rebuild...

At 120k miles i had to rebuild my AT. Same car.
I did not put any additives, if i did, probably i could have driven it for another 10k miles. Anyway, be prepared for AT trouble somewhere around 120-140k miles. A complete rebuilt cost me a little less than $2k in California. Some people do it only for $1k. Keep that in mind.
Other than that, i really love my Audi 100. Great car for the money - especially if driven mostly highway.
