Re: I already have some plugs that need to be gapped... so anyone know the spec?
From ALLDATADIY.COM - Electrode Gap: 0.028 - 0.036 in. (0.7 - 0.9 mm) Tightening Torque: 15 ft.Lbs (20 Nm). But I would still buy a correct plugs as a long term solution-they cay be found for less than $3 each.

I agree...
Buy the correct plug.
Either the Bosch or NGK 3 electrode will be fine.
There's been so much BTDT on what plugs work on the 10vt and which ones don't that it is a no-brainer...

Best practices?
Hey fellas:
When replacing the plugs it is a good idea to clean away the crud that has inevitably built up around the plug. What are your ideas on the best way to clear this mess away before it ends up on top of your pistons? I use my ex's makeup brush. ;-)
