Anyone know whether 200 wagon seats'll fit in a 5000 sedan?

The subject pretty much sums it up; I've got a rare '91 200Q avant (3B engine) that's now a parts car, thanks to some guy in a Ryder truck in Missouri, and I'm wondering if its seats will fit in my '88 5kcsq sedan.
I know the rear seats probably won't swap (the wagon has split, foldown seats and the '88 sedan doesn't), but I'm hoping the front seats will.
If they in fact will, I figure the top of the center console will have to be modified a bit (it has a storage bin for cassettes with a totally USELESS little leather pad on top that's supposed to be a pretend armrest) since it looks like it would interfere with the armrest on the newer driver seat.
Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

You may have to do a little splicing in as far as the electricals go for the power functions. If I remember right the electrical connectors for the 5000's differ from the 200's a slight bit. Shouldn't take very long...
The back seats won't work AFAIK.
The armrest on the seat can be simply removed. If you don't want to do that you'll have to modify the existing console/armrest if it gets in the way...

There was a guy on the Quattro list a few days or a week ago that blew an engine in a 91 200q20v, I think he was looking for $2000 for the whole shebang? Wasn't a wagon but mebbe you can do a heart transplant...

Sounds interesting. Actually, I've been facing *too* many interesting options here, with what to do with my wagon... bit I digress; any idea where this '91 with the blown 20v is located? Do you know if it was an avant?
