Audi 500 S turbo diesel... known problems ?
Have a friend looking at one of these.A 1983 that looks really nice. I have two VW diesels (4 cyl) and this is a 5 cylinder and I don't know anything about them. Are they a good car? Any known problems or niggling things that crop up? It is running well & sounds good & the body & interior are nice looking.
Anything to specifically pay attention to? He sure likes it & is thinking of a repaint & total restoration to keep it for 20 years or so like I have with my rabbit & VW pickup.

here in Lithuania (europe) i know one diesel Audi100TD with 450k km and the engine is ok
