Engine code mc w/2 knock sensors.
Engine will not start when hot.
Fuel system OK.
No spark.
Hall sensor & ignition coil OK.
Fault code 2112(TDC Sensor) stored when cranking during no-start (may be false code).
I am getting 12 volts on terminals 1 & 3 when cranking
at ignition coil power stage connector.
I will get 0 volts on terminals 2 & 3 when cranking (no-start).
When engine cools, I will get proper voltage at terminals 2 & 3 and engine will start.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

2112 is a fault code for the timing reference sensor...
There's been instances of the TRS being faulty due to heat cycling breaking down the sensor.
What will happen is the sensor will not work on hot starts.
Perhaps this is your problem? Good luck.

The timing reference sensor will test out fine according to Bentley.
But, during the no-start condition, if I spray brake cleaner onto the sensor and cool it down, the car will start and run fine.
I think it is time to replace this sensor.
Thanks for your comments.
