Default Audi V8 3.6 1989 fitting newer type climate control

Managed to get my hands on 92-93 audi 100 c4 climate display, some wiring, all electric motors and stuff, i have the v8 newer type trim cover already waiting for a year now
But the problem is, 100 has newer type climate connectors on wiring harness than v8..

is there anyway to make this thing happen?
thnx
Silver

I know nothing about the 100 climate control, but the newer/later climate control heads on the V8's in the states were different, and not interchangeable....Good luck. Tom

a few questions for you, sir! i have been contemplating this swap myself, however i am curious if the wiring was the only thing you had to modify? the blower resistor, controls on the heater box, etc all worked with the new control unit?

Awsome, good for you....If that 100 system is the same as in the later model V8's, this is good. There are people here with the later model V8's(way less common) that could do the opposite....Good Job. Tom

How did you do this exactly? Just jump into it? Basically did you have to splice the new connectors or what? If you did a step by step or brief overview of how you pulled that off I would really like to know. Also, I can guarantee the V8 list would go nuts over this. You used an Audi 100 climate control head right? Very impressive.

It was quite simple, i did it in just 6 hours.

took audi 100 c4 air blowing system, under the bonnet, wiring, climate control system, and just dropped it all on 89 V8, almost everything is plug and play, but had to use elsawin for electronic schematics for some connectors.
