1991 200 turbo automatic.
I only have the haynes manuyal and it doesnt explain the dipstick and there is no writing on it.
there are 2 holes and a VERY small crosshatched pattern and the very bottom. Is the crosshatch at the very bottom for cold fill with engine off or on? i'm assuming the 2 holes are the full range for hot and running. But i wasnt quite sure and its not labeled at all.
thanks,
Paul

same trany stick used in my non turbo '87. The two holes represent high and low fluid marks. Check trany fluid level when engine and trany fluid are up to normal driving temperature. Check fluid level when motor is still running, trany in Park position. Add trany fluid using a funnel with a long drain stem. Your question wasn't dumb at all. I checked the owners manual, nothing written there about trany fluid maintenance.
