back up lights?
'91 200tq20v
My back up lights went out.
Both bulbs are fine, and so is the fuse... #12 I think it was (according to the manual)...
what else should i check?

First thing to check....trunk hinge wiring harness.
left side of trunk. Cotton wrap covered wiring harness. Like all the wiring harnesses that pass through a hinge in Audis, no extra slack was given for the continuous bending of the wires. Unwrap the cotton covering and see if any of the wires are severed or insulation cracked bad enough to short out.
