Is there such a thing as an improved door handle for a 5k?

all of mine keep braking.

If you oil them up real well, you may have some better luck. Otherwise I dont believe there are any improvements. /:

i guess i finally have a direction in life, to create an audi 5000 door handle that wont break even when my drunk friends try to open the doors when they are locked.

they are made of pot metal workings, and break so easily. I have learned to keep them lubed up, and not yank on them when they are frozen in winter, or yank on them any other time. Treat with kid gloves, and they will last a long time.

i second that. if i had a preference, base it off a 200 handle, so we get the flushness

you could cast and/or mill new ones from *steel* perhaps..

what i did was just buy an aftermarket one, I found it for 10$ and the plastic was replaced with cast iron, and it did well, until I got a new Audi.

I see that "improved" VW handles turn up on eBay. Haven't noticed any Audi handles yet.
