Where is the bose amp I think that is my problem because I only get sound from front right and back 6x9 speaker. But when I disconnected the front right door speaker the left one worked hooked the right speaker back up and the left one quit.
there are amp cards in each of the four speakers . Are you getting any popping or squeeling from the speakers. How is the door speaker door wiring. I've had a front speaker go because of the door hinge wiring.
sounds to me like you have some RFI, or radio frequency interference, messing with the signals to your speakers. check to make sure ALL wiring for the individual amps on each speaker is still shielded and make sure that the wiring going from the radio head is still insulated and nothing has rubbed through. this may cause a short. the fact that the right speaker seems to be a common point for your problems says that you should start looking for any shorted or grounded wires at that speaker, or like 5000cd said, in the door hinge area.
if i disconnect the right front door speaker (that works) then the left one turns on and works perfect. Maybe I could have one bad rear left 6x9. Oh and I never got to try the bose stereo with the stock head unit just with my pioneer
Was this problem ever resolved? I have similar problem as the original poster. The bass and
midrange are missing and the sound is very thin.
The car is A4 B8 2009 and there are 8 speakers and as far as I know it has MMI 2G (says Concert in audio unit). There is no amplifier unit in the trunk (left side).
i do not know if there are any errors but the driver side low door speaker rattles a little when I increase the volume.
