BPV makes all the difference! Woohoo!

BPV makes all the difference! Woohoo!
Force 5 sent me an earlier 5000 intercooler (which has the 1 inch connector on it for a BPV), and sent me an air pipe with a 1 inch connector welded on. Got the BPV installed today. Not sure if there is a right and wrong way it gets hooked up: What I've seen from all of the installations on here is that you have all hooked the bottom of the BPV into the intercooler, and the side of the BPV into the air pipe.. If hooked up that way, it would appear that
pressure from the turbo could force the BPV open.... I hooked mine up the other way... The intercooler is attached to the side port on the BPV, so no matter how much pressure there is in the intercooler, it can't force the BPV open...
Is there a preferred way to hook it up?
Opinions?
The BPV solved the sluggishness I was seeing when accelerating and boosting(in between gears)... What a wonderful thing!
TIA!

this is correct. the vacuum from the manifold pulls it open

Re: It's possible that manifold pressure might keep it closed the other way..
With my Porsche 930 valve the vac applied to the trigger at idle always opens it. This is why I had to plumb it as a BPV and not a BOV.
