CARSNPLANES

Most if not all t44s came with Girling Calipers (please correct if not true). Question: When you go into some auto part stores or on internet, there are choices of replacement calipers, Girling (originals) or these ATE,Teves calipers. These seem to be the rebuilt choices, but are they the same quality? I assume you cannot mismatch them which is why they must be bought in pairs. I never see rebuilt Girlings, why? And new ones are $150.00. I have a bad left rear caliper which is why I'm asking . I'd hate to have to buy the right rear also as it is fine. I would like to stick with the original Girlings if possible. I bought a rebuild kit for the bad one. The problem was the park brake arm frozen.
Any advice on the Girlings vs the others?
