My V8 has similar issues when cold. For the first 3-5 miles @ 60 mph the car seems to buck when I hold the gas steady or use cruise. It doesn't seem to do this during the warmer days.

does it do it in Neutral too? if not I'd suspect a partially blocked trans filter or low on trans fluid.

its a 90 Quattro v8 3.6 L it doesn't really do it in neutral when i rev it like sometime it studders im just thinking its so old and i gotta fix it up more change the air filter to a KN and probably do the fuel filter go from there see if it changes at all do a sea foam treatment to it just seems like the lower its on gas the more its noticeable like it feels like it losses power and ive done the plugs and o2 clean the maf as best as i could gotta try to do the ics to ill try all these out 1st when i get the money

well where do i get a trans dipstick from ? cause mine is missing so i cant check it unless its with this one that's way bigger and idk if its always true or not and in neutral it'll like stutter at 2900 rpms im try gaping plugs see if that maybe take that away because i got lazy and didn't have a gapper so i just threw them in there just auto light coppers got them cheap so said oh well there plugs and they seem to do fine at idle. but where do i get a dipstick ?

It was considered a "service" item on the V8 becasue the trans was a "lifetime" and non-serviceable part. You can still find them - try here: http://www.asttool.com/detail_page.p...f&manf=VW/Audi

alright fixed my plugs. But have a new problem its been happening for a while now like when i give it gas after Ive been driving for a while the car like cuts out. When the rpm's get high and feels like im losing power more then anything and it only happens when I get in to the red zone on gas its weird idk what it could be. Like sometimes it'll do it if i rev it past 3 grand in neutral ???????????????
