it has the IA stg 2 chip with a full get up coil over system with some porsche parts from what the seller says some of the custom coil over stuff was designed by a german guy that raced and wrenched on audi during the Trans-Am days of long ago. It also has 993 brakes on the car also. How much HP does the stg 2 IA chip make? Why am I thinking about buying another audi, i'm supposed to be looking at a prelude or something that is wallet friendly.

Besides... Audis aren't too bad if you have a parts car stable!
I bought those cars today. My stable now has 2 - 1990 V8s, 2 FWD 200 turbos, 1 1989 200TQ Avant, and 1 1989 200TQ FrankenAudi... oh yea... and an A4 lease that I don't count.

he said he put a rare 5000 S Quattro (non-turbo)411 tranny gears in it for better acceleration and totally stipped it down and put redline and welded that body frame for extra stiffeness for the race track. boxerfan do you know anything about the stg 2 IA chip?

Stage II - computer modification, wastegate spring & turbo -- 275-290hp
listed as "call" for price.
I can't see 275hp without dicking with the CIS though, to get some more flow. doesn't quite add up to me.

he also it flies thru the gears with that tranny since it is geared for the track. he also said he welded parts of the frame to added strength.

If he didn't increase fuel flow somehow, it would lean out before it hit 275hp, from what I understand of the limitations of the stock CIS system.
we'll assume he did though.
turbo non-quattro tranny? can't see that working very well in a quattro![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
you mean a quattro non-turbo?
Regardless, i think the 5KQ no turbo is still 3.89 diffs.
the 016 in the 4000Q and has a 4.11 diff in it though, so he could of used the 4000 tranny?
still the rear end would need changing too. 4.11 front and 3.89 rear diff wouldnt work too nice.
then again i do remember ETKA listing both 4.11 and 3.89 gearboxes, but thought all the 5KQ's were 3.89
anyways, starting to confuse myself i think
