ok well the story is there is a local wrecking yard with a 1990 200 10v turbo front wheel drive auto. Now I have a 87 5000csqt and I would like to build a motor for it but cant be without the car for a couple of months. So the thought snag that motor outta the wrecking yard and after rebuilding (and some tweaks of course) and transplant it to my car. Now I know there is 2 knock sensors in the newer 10v and there is only 1 in my car. Is this possible to do? And if so what do I gotta do

Possible. First thing to do is get that engine... not sure if you can run with mac11...but mac14 should be easy to hook up adn wire in the extra knock sensor... everything else should bolt up.

I say run it. MC2 has higher compression, you'll have to be careful there. Or throw in a thicker head gasket to lower the compression.

it'll drop right in, the only real difference is that it has a second knock sesnor you'll need to wire in, snag the comp from the parts car too, should be a mac 14
