Ok so the project car is almost done. Car use to start but now no longer does(when it started it ran poorly). The car was running on 4 cylinders due to bad fuel distributor so got a new one. The car still won't start. (it did not start with old distributor either) so its not due to the new distributor. I can hear the fuel pump running. Crack the banjo nuts on distributor and i have pressure. When turning over the car and having someone lift up on the air plate NO FUEL SPRAYS FROM INJECTORS. The injectors are brand new same with filter and everything else. Im so lost. CSV sprays fine. Car runs on ether but shortly dies when ether is stopped spraying. So I have fuel pressure all way up to distributor but the injectors will not spray. I have spark to all plugs. [could it be that my fuel pump is not giving enough pressure? So why aren't fuel injectors spraying? And why won't car start? Any and all help is so appreciated. Thanks so much guys.

Sounds like you don't have enough fuel pressure to open the injectors.
