My 1986 Audi 5000s with 5 cycl. 2.2 L non turbo automatic will not blow hot air when it gets cold outside. There is a clicking sound when I engage to the climate control. The fan works great but only blows cold air.

The HVAC temperature controller probably has a failed servo motor that runs the flaps that direct the air through the heater core box.
