I went with standard.
Unless you're planning on upgrading in less than a year ie you have already purchased the largest turbo 034 has to offer. You should probably stick to stock.
This will be a good opportunity to change out all of the replaceable/serviceable items 'while you're in there'.
I took my car to a guy who services more 200q20v than anyone else in the area. I have a laundry list of all the stuff he fixed or replaced and the car drives tight as a drum now. It's expensive, but if you're going to have the car up and the subframe off, you'll save some money doing other maintenance items now if you have any plans on keeping it for a while so you don't have to get her on the lift again.
He had my car for 3 weeks and showed me a bag full of
bushings when I went to pay for the work (just under
$2500). In addition to the clutch I got:
release bearing guide,
shifter link rod,
rear crankshaft seal,
drive axle seal,
parking brake cables,
trans mounts,
sub frame mounts,
front and rear control arm bushings,
swaybar bushings,
L and R toe end links,
new drive belts,
wheel alignment (freed up the toe adjusters, glass bead blasted and painted them),
clean and repacked CV joints
Clutch pedal depresses with almost no effort, wow!
