Clutch pedal feels normal but I can't get the clutch to go into neutral?

The pedal feels normal and there's no leaks, no unusal noises.
The clutch won't disengage so a gear can be selected.
It's like the opposite of a "normal" clutch failure when the clutch won't engage.
What has happened?

If it does, you may have a gradual leak at the clutch slave cylinder. Stick your head down in the back of the engine compartment and see if you can see anything like a fluid puddle on top of the tranny. If so, you may have a dying slave cylinder.
