Default Cold engine idle problems

After a cold engine start, the idle on my 91' 100 fluctuates significantly (up and down between 500 and 2600 rpm). Once moving, the car bogs down when applying the gas for the first couple of minutes, then straightens out and runs fine. The idle then becomes steady after that. Is this symtomatic of an ISV problem or something else???

Default I had a warm idle problem

and cleaned my ISV and now it's fine. I would try the same thing. Seems that a dirty ISV can cause many idle problems on the Type 44.

Default

check your idle switch to see if it is telling ECU to ISV
