ARGH!
So I walk the yard here at Pick-N-Pull sometimes 2-3 times a week scouting for that 1994 4.2 Audi V8 totaled by a rear end collision
.
These last few weeks Pick N Pull has been receiving hundreds of the junk Cash for Clunkers cars.
Walking the yard today and what do I find? No, not a 1994 4.2, but a 1997 A8! Pop the hood and see pink paint! AHHHHHHHH! How delusional must a person to see an A8 as a clunker? >.<
That, and at the end of the yard was a 1991 200 20V T with a painted motor. Yeah, I did just say that. Such a waste. I can't gripe to much about the 200 20V because although its a great car, I now have a beautiful front seat, and front Bose speakers.

people are unbelievably stupid nowadays. They could have sold those cars for more than the $4500 "credit" they were getting by trading them. Then they could have actually bargained on the price of a new car. I know a few people who did the cash for clunkers deal. No bargaining whatsoever. Thats the price, trade in your junk and get $4500 off of full retail price. What a scam. I'll would love to see my 88 5000 in a head on with a new corolla. those cars are completely disposable.

I have seen early A8s at the yards, and they all have blown trannies. Makes them worthless to fix up, so they get parted out... for me hehe
