Default Dead passenger power seat - 86 5000CS TQ

Seat controls are totally dead. IS there a relay/fuse setup I am missing from the under hood fuse box?

I just put in another pair of seats from a 91 Audi 100 and same results; Manually powering the motors works.

Thanks!

The Bentley says there's a control unit into which all the power cords plug.

First items on the checklist (pg 72.4) are to make certain Fuse S12 is ok, make certain the 30A fuse in the relay panel is OK and make certain the memory control is set to ON. There are 16 pages of power seat troubleshooting in the Bentley.

Also check the 30A fuse on the strip of fuses that face you when you open the fuse box cover.
I believe it is fuse #24 (or maybe #27 - depending on your car model. Sorry, I don't have my Bentley handy). When I would lower my passenger seat all the way flat, I would blow this 30A fuse, and the seat would not work.

I know the fuse box under the hood; I also see a relay box under and just to the left of the steering wheel. Is this where 'S12" is located? Are there any other areas to look at for fuses? Sorry for the novice questions. Still new to Audis!

fuse s12 is in the fuse box under the hood. just count 12 fuses from front to rear of box, and count should go up to fuse 22. fuses 23-28 are on the edge of the fuse box. some of these are blank, but 30A fuse connectors should be there for the passenger seat, and sunroof.
