Thanks I really like that head unit. I think im still going to pick out better speakers and subs and a new amp. ive been looking around and found things in the same price range but better quality. I decided to completely rewire my system and hook up 4 of my speakers in the car to an amp that will put out about 110 RMS watts to each speaker so sounds good to me. ill keep u updated.

sounds like a good plan, but make sure you dont exceed the nominal rating for each speaker. you dont want to constantly be using the speaker at its maximum rating. im not sure bout some other brands, but my 6.5" Focals are only rated at 60 watts nominal, but 120 max. 110 watts per channel nominal would be waaay too much for those speakers to handle-at least for any long period of time. check them out here if u like...

http://www.focal-america.com/>products>speakers>access>a1>165 a1

even the 5,600 dolla set of utopia be's is only rated at 100 watts nominal, lol

the amount of wattage to each speaker will also affect the sound quality, the more power sent, the more of each range (low, mid or high) the speaker sees. excessive lows will distort the sound and cause the speaker to "clip" or max out its up and down travel.
It will also cause each range to kinda blend together. instead of hearing each distinct pitch, you get a smorgasbord of sounds

a neat trick to help with this is bass blockers. never personally used them, but from what i hear from friends (their systems back it up) they 'filter' out the lows and let the highs and mids through so small speakers dont have to work as hard. cool!

just run it in parallel. find a place to put the second battery and positive to positive and negative to negative, make sure the battery is fully charged before starting the car. its a good idea to charge your batteries at night with a cheap battery charger. a 10 amp charger works nice, but it doesn't look like you would really need a second battery if your not looking to flip quarters :P id only do that if your lights were dippin out or you found out that your battery voltage was way too low when pulling in the car for the night. like 9.45v.

Rear Deck speakers- http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2068KS6...ures_and_specs

Amp for subs- http://www.crutchfield.com/p_2068ZX4...115&tab=review

the head unit doesn't have sub outputs. and to be honest id look into a little nicer deck heck walmart has a pretty sick one for like 80 bucks with
usb plugs and sd plugs and auxilary out and mp3 and all sorts of crap.

the mids are nice but where are you going to fit them in the doors?

i question the subs because the RMS rating is 100-300 watts, thats a bit of difference there but if they can put up 300 watts they should sound fine for what you are looking for.

i would get two of those amps for those subs. IF they are able of producing 300watts rms (is that a peice or between the two of them), you are going to be trying to power 600 watt drivers with a 400 watt amp. this is a good way to blow subs. If its 300 watts total then that amp will work fine.

those are nice rears and should work fine.
