Can anyone refer me to a website that shows a diagram of the distributor for this car. I disaasembled my distributor this evening-it only had one spring in it. Second, is static timing determined at the round hole on the top of the transmission bellhousing or the hole at approximately two o'clock as you look at it the motor from the front of the car. I think I screwed up the timing when I changed the timing belt. Thanks in advance from Montana.

If you have a Bentley, it tells where the timimg marks are, you've already found the one. I _think_ the second one (for the cam) is on the back side of the cam sprocket. If the little hole has a "0" showing, and the back of the cam sproket mark is lined up with the bottom of the valve cover, your engine should be in time. The ECU controls engine ignition timing on your car, and if the distributor is even close to the right position the engine will fire.
What are/were the symptoms after the timing belt change?

In a nutshell, no spark, no noise from fuel pump. Cranked over fine. I'm pretty sure its timed properly. Just not absotively, posilutely sure. All the hoses are properly connected. Ran the codes. Now I'm monkeying (jumping around, screeching, pounding with a stick) the distributor. It only had one spring in it. Time to hit the junkyards and/or writing checks, I guess.
