It was unplugged since I bought the car, and I cannot figure out where it should go to. There is also an empty hole on the top of the bell housing, which looks like it's for some kind of sensor, like TDC or RPM sensor. The car starts and runs great, and diagnostic shows no error codes whatsoever.

Default Someone broke the bell housing?!

There are some connectors for testing purpose. They are unpluged. I think the one in the picture is one of them. So don't worry about it.

The window on the bell housing is for checking the timing. There is an O mark on the flywheel which tells the position of TDC.

Once I was checking the ECU and with a big surprise, I found a wire to the ECU was cut. I thought that some idiot was messing with the ECU before. Later on I found out from Scott's site that it is a hallmark of no-California car.

Default If it's not too late

Mine is plugged in on a 200q20v. Look far down, by the axle/diff connection.

Is there a sensor, switch, or something else I should be looking for?

Default Re: Do you know where it goes to?

I am still working on getting pics up but i will try to explain. The male end to the connector is located on the transmission (5 speed man). Near the input of the front axle. From reading other replies my guess is maybe some don't have it (auto???). I am sorry that i do not know exactly what it is right now. I just thought i would say that i have it and it is plugged in. The car still runs well even when it is unplugged. Good luck.
